Keith is a global HR leader with over 20 years of experience working in the energy industry. As Chief People Officer he is responsible for the delivery of operational HR services, and setting Tritium’s People strategy covering reward, talent, leadership and culture, ensuring the Company has the right people and skills in place to pursue our exciting growth plans.
Prior to joining Tritium, Keith served as Chief HR & Diversity Officer for National Grid’s North America business since 2016. Keith began his career with National Grid as a Team Leader in their UK Gas Distribution business before moving into HR and undertaking senior HR positions in their Gas Distribution, Electricity Transmission, Electricity Distribution and Non-Regulated Businesses. He moved to New York in 2009 as VP, Head of Organizational Effectiveness, leading the establishment of a Change Management and Organization Design center of expertise and was instrumental in the creation of a new global business operating model which is still in place today. He returned to London as VP, Global HR Business Partner, leading HR for National Grid’s global corporate function groups, before returning to the US in early 2016 to head up labor relations, business partnering, strategic workforce planning, diversity equity and inclusion (DEI) and talent management and then became Chief HR & Diversity Officer in late 2016.
Under Keith’s leadership, National Grid USA was widely recognized externally as a Top Employer, Best Employer for Diversity, and a World’s Most Ethical Company. Keith was recognized by the National Diversity Council in their 2020 Top 50 Chief Diversity Officer List and most recently in their 2022 Top 100 HR Professionals List. Keith is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development in the UK.
